Notability? edit

Kumori Con plays hosts to literally thousands in attendance each year, and hundreds of staffers and volunteers work year round to prepare for each annual con. 30-50 staffers meets roughly once a month for general meetings, and that doesn't include all the departmental meetings, which happen more frequently. It is also the second-biggest anime convention in the Pacific Northwest.

I don't really see why there's a question about notability, unless you think that what I said above should be clearly stated in the article itself.

My guess is because there are no reliable third-party sources used that can denote WP:NOTABILITY and the article is still very poorly referenced with what sources it does use, half of which would not be considered reliable. --Farix (Talk) —The preceding signed but undated comment was added at 03:28:20, August 19, 2007 (UTC).

Google News Search edit

Google news search brings me an article from a reliable news source. View it. Someone feel free to put it in the article here if they can find the full version. Kopf1988 (talk) 21:12, 29 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Adding two sources to the lead. I know, it could be better, but at least there are reliable sources in the article to help establish this 'notability' that was apparently lacking. Kopf1988 (talk) 21:19, 29 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
