Continental boundary edit
If it is true that Peter II declared this the continental boundary in 1730 (references? what happened to WP:CITE?), this must have been revoked by Elizabeth, as the official atlas of the Russian Empire published in 1745 again shows the classical boundary along the Don River. --dab (𒁳) 10:58, 16 April 2011 (UTC)
Elevation in the "Depression" ?? edit
Elevation in the "Depression"?? I think that it is rather silly to write an article about this so-called depression without saying anything about its lowest point. This article does not even say if that is above or below sea level. [Its highest point would be of interest, too.]
In contrast, it that general part of the world we can look up NUMBERS for these depressions:
The shoreline of the Caspian Sea.
The shoreline of the Dead Sea.
The deepest point in the Qattara Depression in Egypt.

Did the Khvalynian Sea empty through this into the Black Sea? edit
