Confusion about Kru and Krumen edit
There seems to be much confusion about the terms Kru and Krumen. Apparently the Kru are a large group in the interior of Liberia. The Krumen are said by Ethnologue to be a subgroup fo the Grebo. Other sources say that the Krumen descend from Krus who were enlisted in british ships in previous centuries. Would please someone who knows best clear up the confusion? I just read a 1942 book entitled "Samuel Morris" from a Christian publisher, I added it to the reference list. The story reads like a legend so I came to this site. The book seems to corroborate the idea that Kru were employed by the British in some way for the shipping industry. Samuel Morris's story is interesting, I had wondered about the reference to cannibalism and wondered how prevalent that was in Samuel's (Kaboo's) day.
