Contested deletion edit

This page should not be speedy deleted because the third level of ice hockey in Russia is a very good level of ice hockey. These deletion requests by confused users on notable articles really irritate me. --Hockeyben  22:52, 16 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Well, you could try to comply with Wikipedia's policies by giving references WP:RS that actually show the notability. Up to you to show it, not for the confused patrollers to do your work for you. Does this level of ice hockey comply with WP:ATHLETE? Over to you... Peridon (talk) 22:56, 16 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
Once you get to the third level of hockey in russia you are scrapping the bottom of the barrel quite a bit. If you are going to create articles for teams at these really low levels of hockey you really should find sources for them that are independent and talk about the team. -DJSasso (talk) 16:02, 18 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
