Pruit/Pruitt

Is "Pruitt" really missing a T on the first two releases? Images of the track list from the 2009 release show it with two Ts, which is correct according to Pruitt–Igoe and Wendell_O._Pruitt (though still short of a hyphen).

I can't definitively clear this up but the second 't' is missing on my edition. Although it's an error, I think it's one they largely stood by. In other words, it's missing on at least the second release of the soundtrack (i.e. the one I have) and probably the first. Bretonesque (talk) 23:58, 8 May 2013 (UTC)
The same error (one T, space instead of hyphen) also appears on the 1983 LP that I have. Richard K. Carson (talk) 06:26, 29 November 2014 (UTC)

Not microchips

Pictures of microchips and satellite photography of metropolitan cities are shown, comparing the lay of each of them.

Actually I have reason to believe that the computer circuitry shown does not include microchips, and the shots are not hugely magnified pictures of microscopic circuitry. Instead it's normally magnified pictures of pre-microchip (mainframe) computer circuitry including at least two shots of core memory boards, probably a couple of inches across.Silas Maxfield (talk) 22:21, 18 February 2013 (UTC)

Additional Music

The credits for the film list Michael Hoenig as the composer of additional music. This track is a dirge with a slow constant march, and sounds a lot like "Frisson" from Daedelus (http://www.amazon.com/Frisson/dp/B00F6VDCNK). I believe it can be heard right before the part where the "microchips" are compared and contrasted to the city layouts. If someone figures out the title of the track, it would be a welcome addition to this article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.220.59.18 (talk) 12:55, 25 September 2013 (UTC)

between theatrical and dvd releases

I'm quite certain that sometime around 1987-1988 the film was aired on PBS in the United States. I was surprised not to find this fact mentioned. It seemed to me (at the time) the reason most of my peers (in our late teens/early twenties) knew of the film at all. Perhaps someone with the inclination could look into the specifics for airdates. And was it not issued on VHS, even if priced and marketed for rental? ◦◦derekbd◦my talk◦◦ 20:25, 29 July 2018 (UTC)
