Talk:Kolakoski sequence

Why the term "set"?

edit

The text refers to a generating "set" for a Kolakoski sequence, but it's not a set because the order of the members matters and because it can have repeating elements, as with "{2,1,3,1}" and others in the article. Wouldn't it be more accurate to call it a generating "sequence" than a "set"? And perhaps not use set notation (curly braces)? — Preceding unsigned comment added by DKMell (talkcontribs)
