Youth Career
editIt is a really confusing matter when he joined the youth academy of Woodford United F.C.Debojyoti (talk) 18:12, 2 April 2013 (UTC)
- Might be best to leave it as questionmarks until there's a clear source – one where we don't have to guess what the words mean – one way or the other? cheers, Struway2 (talk) 19:02, 2 April 2013 (UTC)
- I'd say it's pretty evident that he joined in 2011. That's when that academy started, and it's unusual for clubs at that level to sign someone other than from the initial trials before the season starts. Lukeno94 (tell Luke off here) 19:05, 2 April 2013 (UTC)
- Thing is, we need to go by what the sources say, rather than what we think might be unusual. If a talented boy still of school age turned up from abroad during the season, it'd be even more unusual for a club at that level to turn him down for their youth teams. There are sources that imply he didn't arrive from Ghana until 2012, which would clearly preclude his having joined Woodford in 2011, but again, it's better to wait for something explicit to turn up before putting it into a BLP. There's no rush. No doubt once his career gets going, more detail will come out in the mainstream media. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 19:22, 2 April 2013 (UTC)
- If you disagree with my edit, feel free to re-revert, I won't consider it edit-warring. :) Lukeno94 (tell Luke off here) 19:54, 2 April 2013 (UTC)
