A section explaining the spelling change Knockloughrim --> Knockcloghrim would be interesting. //Posted by KM

Knockcloughrim

edit

Knockloughrim, Knockloghrim, Knockcloughrim and Knockloghrim are the four main spellings of Knockloughrim that i've seen floated about by people.

However as it resides in Magherafelt District Council which on its website http://www.magherafelt.gov.uk/business/business-directory/_filter-town--knockloughrim.php spells it as Knockloughrim, i and everyone else should take this to be the official spelling.

However what makes this more confusing is that another government site: Northern Ireland Neighbourhood Information Service (NINIS), has it spelt as Knockcloghrim http://www.ninis.nisra.gov.uk/mapxtreme/mapcatalogue.asp.

So how do we solve it? I dunno! Mabuska 23:16, 23 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

As a long overdue update, i sorted it out ages ago. Mabuska (talk) 23:57, 3 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

This article needs a serious overhaul to make it comply with Wikipedia standards. The manual of style, lack of citations, and what appears to be original research drags this article down badly and needs seriously amended. I will start trying to make it partially better tomorrow.
