Daimler-Knight edit

In the following sentence, there is an orphan quotation mark, thus:

On the project's completion, though it was no longer "Wholly Knight, Knight obtained a British patent for his modified engine on June 6 1908.

I'm not sure whether the intention is "Wholly" Knight or "Wholly Knight". Dawright12 (talk) 09:57, 2 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Andy Dingley. I can't refind the source of the statement that these logos/emblems - more than mere mascots - were required by C Y Knight so for the moment I will take it all away. Knight's demands varied a bit as he felt his bargaining strength wax and wane. I found the reference some months ago and was then unable to re-find the illustration which I knew existed. I found the image in Wikimedia 24 hours ago and used it as you have noticed.

Important this: here is the owner of the emblem concerned, he discusses it beginning 1:50 seconds into the video regards, Eddaido (talk) 10:41, 15 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

English edit

Should this article be in British English (where the engine was developed) or in US English? Eddaido (talk) 01:20, 17 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
