I have been to Knatten in 2008 and can confirm that it does exist, and that that is its proper recognized name which is attested to in books, newspapers and correspondence since at least 1821, though the name and place are much older. I dont know that its appropriate to question the validity of an article just because you dont have personal knowledge about something. If that were acceptable practice I could question nearly every article on wikipedia just because it was something I didnt have any knowledge of. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.137.201.161 (talk) 22:22, 10 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

I have never heard of "Knatten" before, I live in Sweden, and even checked it on a mapsite. It couldn't find neither Knatten nor Knattenberget, so I assume it is a joke. Most likely, because there exist an swedish internet phenomena consisting of a cat called Knatten making fun of politicians and such. Probably someone wanted to make a wikipedia article in his "honor". 217.210.224.224 16:44, 10 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

The Swedish Wikipedia doesn't list it... —Preceding unsigned comment added by Asav (talkcontribs) 13:34, August 25, 2007 (UTC)
