Kloof Coat of Arms

The arms shown on this page are not the arms of the Kloof municipality as shown in the Municipal Year Books. I believe they're actually the arms of the Kloof Country Club. Can anyone clarify this?

Arthur R you are correct, they are not the erstwhile Borough of Kloof's coat of arms! The later also had the leopard on the crest but the shield below is quartered and it partially contains the Richmond (England) shield together with as I recall symbols indicating the typical "hills" and "steams" to be found in Kloof.

Note that Everton is NOT part of Kloof and has never been so! Everton was an entirely separate local authority (Everton Health Committee) that was eventually incorparted into the Outer West Local Council and eventually into the eThekwini Municiplaity. The photo showing the grand house known as Crowhurst (originally owned by the Huletts) was located on a large estate comprised of various parcels of land situated in erstwhile local authority areas of Kloof, Everton and Gillitts. Technically the house itself fell in Kloof! John A Forbes (talk) 12:01, 2 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Lil Uzi Vert This seems to be an error, no ref and no indication this person has ever been to ZA. Clayton Burne 07:56, 7 February 2022 (UTC)

Comrades Marathon

edit

I See "16 June" Has Been Mentioned In The Article. May Somebody Please Indicate The Year (Is It An Annual Event & Is The Road Used All The Time Or Only For 16 June This Year). We Either Write "Annually On 16 June" Or "On 16 June 2022". Chils Kemptonian (talk) 00:42, 3 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
