Primary

Somebody has moved this page with the goal of placing a (duplicate) page on Klik (candy) at Klik. However, usage statistics show that if there is a primary topic that should get the Klik page, it is not the candy but Klik (packaging method). Looking at the stats, does anyone feel that the primary Klik page should now be Klik (packaging method), and this page left separate? If the packaging method wasn't just a redirect to AppImage, I'd say definitely yes, but I'm a little less certain with that. --Nat Gertler (talk) 22:54, 15 March 2020 (UTC)

Switching to a different graphing source, as I've come to realize that Wikishark was giving me not the stats for the redirect to AppImage, but rather the stats for AppImage itself. However, with this new source, I see that while the packaging method is a low figure, the radio station typically has only a slight edge over the candy... not enough to be considered WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. --Nat Gertler (talk) 16:16, 17 March 2020 (UTC)

@NatGertler and Yallayallaletsgo: I didn't pay enough attention in making this edit. It appears that the disambiguation page should be at Klik and that Klik (disambiguation) should be a redirect. Accidental duplicate page

Oppose moving Klik (disambiguation) to Klik. Of course it was not my intention to duplicate the page, I thought I had deleted the Klik (candy) page. I think that is quite obvious as there is no reason why I would (or any editor) would want a duplicate version of the article they just created, with said duplicate being of inferior quality. The candy article is the only article on Wikipedia for something which is named Klik, there are no other articles about anything that is currently named just "Klik", links will be added directing to any possible similarly spelled articles in order to prevent any possible confusion. As I have added copyrighted images that are only licensed to be used on this article, and as this is the only article titled Klik (AppImage has not been called Klik for a decade), this is the WP:PrimaryTopic. I have provided links at the top of the article to every single article that is referenced in the disambiguation, as well as the disambiguation itself as to make sure there is no confusion st all.Yallayallaletsgo (talk) 01:39, 16 March 2020 (UTC)

It is irrelevant if AppImage has been the name for "Klik" for a decade; far more people who are looking for Klik here are looking for that than for the candy, and we should not surprise them by sending them to a more obscure topic. You are indeed capable of putting all the content you've been putting on the Klik page on the Klik (candy) page. A fair use rational for putting it on the page about the candy would serve wherever the candy is mentioned. If you have some other "license" for the copyright image, what license are you claiming? Your attempt to overtake this page have been undone by multiple editors, and you have failed to achieve consensus or even a single point of agreement for your efforts. --Nat Gertler (talk) 01:55, 16 March 2020 (UTC)

Klik (candy as WP:PRIMARYTOPIC)

OPPOSE redirect of Klik (disambiguation) to Klik. According to this source, Klik (candy) is the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC, as it has almost double the views of the other Klik articles combined. The chart goes as follows.

Total views:

• Klik (candy)- 131
• KLIK- 70
• Klik (packaging method)- 13

Daily views:

• Klik (candy)- 16
• KLIK- 9
• Klik (packaging method)- 2

As Klik (candy) has many more views than the other articles on this subject combined, I think it should be the primary topic and the object of the Klik article. The article I created at Klik included referral links to every other Klik as well as this disambigustion page at the top of the page, and I find that to be more than sufficient. I will be proceeding as per WP:BOLD policy, and will revert Klik to the article about the candy, as it is clearly the most searched for article at this time, with this name, Klik. I will add any relevant data and statistics relating to the views articles related to this topic receive as it is available. Perhaps you should've bothered to look at the trends for the periods when you aren't constantly reloading the page as you edit it and others aren't loading the page as they try to clean up the problems you've caused with your edits. --Nat Gertler (talk) 17:50, 17 March 2020 (UTC)
