Some restructuring
editI edited the lead to remove extraneous compliments (but kept the refs). I also moved some stuff around, for example, the gender discrimination suit should not be in the lead, I moved it to the firm section. Also moved some other sentences around. HeavyAtoms (talk) 02:34, 18 December 2012 (UTC)
Gender discrimination lawsuit
editIt is NOT a Sexual Harassment suit as the title of ref [16] claims. There are a tons of refs here for those interested Ottawahitech (talk) 04:31, 27 March 2015 (UTC)

editMy apologies to the regular editors here. I have a bunch of stalkers and they are following me around reverting my edits. So I think the improvements I made are sufficient to remove the 'reads like an ad' tag and there seem to be enough sources. If you agree, if you can please restore my version when it is inevitably reverted again by the same stalker or a new one. Handpolk (talk) 23:14, 14 June 2015 (UTC)

Partners section changes
editOriginally I agreed with Kellymoat’s edit to switch from all current primary partners to old/new partners with Wikipedia pages. However, going back, the re-added list was outdated and very incomplete (and some were/are just advisors, not full partners), so I've replaced the bullet points with the comprehensive ‘KPCB people’ category. Benji the Pen (talk) 23:14, 23 July 2017 (UTC)
- On second thought, under the category link I’ve decided to add the 9 current general partners, sans advisors/lower partners. Listing the top people actively running the company seems to be the norm for Wiki's corporate people sections, although can discuss if someone disagrees. Investments
editPerhaps the firms invested in content should be limited to those where the investments are significant and the firms notable. I think "significant" would require a key role at an early stage or something later of really special general interest--for example, Amazon. Each of the ones included in the article should indicate why it was significant, as is the case fora few of them now. DGG ( talk ) 21:14, 9 January 2018 (UTC)
- This organization did a lot. I looked in the past for a summary of their investments and amounts and could not find it.
- If the data did exist then Wikidata might be the place for it because they have 100s of large investments in notable organizations. Blue Rasberry (talk) 21:16, 9 January 2018 (UTC)

Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers → Kleiner Perkins – official firm website has been changed to new title 37.72.206.191 (talk) 02:23, 2 July 2018 (UTC)
- Moved from technical request (permalink). Better discuss this. –Ammarpad (talk) 02:40, 2 July 2018 (UTC)
- Support The corporate website is using this name. Also media sources have been calling this organization by the name "Kleiner Perkins" for many years. Blue Rasberry (talk) 13:13, 2 July 2018 (UTC)
- Support per WP:NAMECHANGES, in fact we did not need to wait for the corporate website to change... it's a primary source and of little relevance. It's the independent media sources that count. Andrewa (talk) 07:19, 9 July 2018 (UTC)
- The above discussion is preserved as an archive of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page or in a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.
