Speedy deletion nomination of Kittenpantsedit
A tag has been placed on Kittenpants requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject of the article is important or significant: that is, why an article about it should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If you can assert the importance of the subject, . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the article's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines. See the guidelines for specific types of articles: biographies, websites, bands, or companies. Snm0056 (talk) 13:11, 5 November 2011 (UTC) This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because <the projects and people related are relevant and -- in some cases -- well-known. Furthermore, this project involved people who have since been involved with several other successful (and arguably influential) projects; these individuals continue to be involved with successful projects. The continued existence of this page may lead to the further development of other, already existing pages Wikipedia pages (At this point in time, there appear to be at least 17 Wikipedia pages that could be developed further by being linked to this page.); by the same token, the deletion of this page could conceivably hinder the development of already existing Wikipedia pages, or even prevent the creation of future Wikipedia pages of value.>. — Snm0056 (talk) 13:11, 5 November 2011 (UTC) Contested deletioneditThis article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because there is much more to be added here, and it involved David Cross who is awesome. — 68.191.219.143 (talk) 14:28, 5 November 2011 (UTC) Contested deletioneditIn 2011, Kittenpants held the first annual Camp Kittenpants comedy writer's retreat in the Catskills, where professional comedy writers from around the country engaged in fun and funny activities for 3 days. The event is scheduled to repeat in June, 2012. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.77.24.57 (talk) 14:35, 5 November 2011 (UTC) Contested deletioneditThis article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because it remains a source for relevant, contemporary comics and commentary. Kittenpants is important not just as a website, but as a publisher and voice for humor and its history needs to be preserved. — 24.191.101.64 (talk) 14:42, 5 November 2011 (UTC) Contested deletioneditThis article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because Kittenpants is a cultural institution. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 38.121.237.98 (talk) 17:34, 5 November 2011 (UTC) This article should not be speedy deleted because...editThis article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because if Antti Malin(incredibly obscure Magic: The Gathering player), Stegron(incredibly obscure Spider-Man villian who is not even a real person), and Leonarda Cianciulli (perpetrator of 3 murders in Italy 70 years ago) have their own pages, why shouldn't someone who has worked with a wide variety of famous comedians, writers, and musicians and is still creating popular content have her own page? -- Filth — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.21.230.147 (talk) 18:52, 5 November 2011 (UTC) |
Warning! Danger!
editUsing multiple IP addresses to create an appearance of consensus is a gigantic no-no on Wikipedia, and can get you blocked. Don't do this again. And even if you are all different people in real life, a coordinated campaign such as this, orchestrated off-Wiki, is treated as if it were the exact same thing.
