That wasn't the only odd edit. I've undone the whole bunch now. The Seventh Taylor (talk) 15:40, 8 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

This article is super editorialized... the tone is completely wrong edit

I love these guys, and totally understand why this article is written the way it is, but it needs to change.

See here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Biographies_of_living_persons#Tone

...which says:

"BLPs should be written responsibly, cautiously, and in a dispassionate tone, avoiding both understatement and overstatement. Articles should document in a non-partisan manner what reliable secondary sources have published about the subjects, and in some circumstances what the subjects have published about themselves."

Now see these parts of the article (bolded problematic parts for emphasis):

"The soulful title track was accompanied by a stunning vintage skateboarding video, featuring legendary Seventies downhill speed champ Guy ‘Grundy’ Spagnoli."

"Released on July 14 it too comprises four new songs: the title track featuring vocals from the Donny Hathaway-esque songwriter Rich Hale, ‘Summer Rain’ sung by model and songwriter Lucy Chapman, and two blissed-out instrumentals ‘Sunray’ and ‘Watch The Skies’, all featuring irresistible hooks, washes of melody and downtempo breakbeats."

"All the hallmarks of classic Kinobe, in other words."

None of this language is appropriate for Wikipedia. I haven't even touched the casual writing style and mechanical/grammatical errors. This article really needs to be re-written. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kjleitz (talkcontribs) 17:38, 22 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
