This article repeatedly alleges this kingdom as a legend, but it largely reads otherwise as a history. There's no discussion about when the legend developed, what elements are factual (have historical basis,) versus what elements were fabricated. I think we might be able to create a tentative family tree for the kings of Sobrare. The last names of some of the kings correspond to the first names of the previous kings, like other early Spanish names. So, for example, we could tentatively assume that Fortún Garcés I and Sancho Garcés were siblings, and it is possible that they were children of García Ennéguiz I.
