I need to rewatch this film, but I found many of the tones with the manservant to be very racist. Regardless of how well the actor came across, he was just acting his part on a script a write man wrote. I have never met anyone else who has actually seen this movie, so I doubt there’s much modern commentary on it, but I do feel it’s worth noting.
