Talk:King in Prussia

Did the Kings of Poland actually use the title "King of Prussia"? It was my understanding that the name Royal Prussia was used because it was the part of Prussia ruled by the king of Poland, not by the "King of Prussia" a title which didn't exist until 1772. Am I mistaken? john k 01:24, 29 August 2006 (UTC) UTC)Reply

No, the Polish kings did not use the title "king of Prussia", they used a string of titles beginning with the following items: ... By God's grace king of Poland, grand duke of Lithuania, duke of Russia, Prussia and Mazovia ... — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jidu Boite (talkcontribs) 17:22, 11 August 2013 (UTC)Reply
