A few paragraphs should be removed. Stories about his father's love-life do not belong in an article about KJN. If they have any importance they belong in the article about his father. Eclecticology 08:55, 2004 Mar 6 (UTC)

In a dynastic polity his father's love life is central to his biography. That is the only reason there is an article about him at all. Adam 09:00, 6 Mar 2004 (UTC)

There are several problems with this article. It does not include the extensive infomration available from his step sister, who defected to France rather then marry a north Korean military officer, it does not talk about his role in introducing technology to Kim Jong Il, it does not reference his living in China, and it does not properly cover the issues related to his being the son of a concubine and who that is seen in the quasi neo-confucian communist regime in the north.--Ctustison 22:24, 16 December 2005 (UTC)

Removed "Song was reported to have defected to the west, but intelligence officials in South Korea denied the story. Later Song was reported to be in Moscow, where she was having treatment for clinical depression. Some reports say she died in Moscow in 2002."

Should be in an article on Song, not Kim Jong Nam.

I saw a picture of him (from the airport incident in Japan, most likely, he was with the two women and his son) in Newsweek a couple years back; North Korea was in the news and so there was a little mini-article about Kim Jong-Il's two sons and the discussion about which will succeed the father. 71.214.178.65 06:36, 5 July 2006 (UTC)
