Talk:Killing Me Softly (Roberta Flack album)

What song was Roberta referring to when she wrote this song?

Thanks,

Possibly falsified citation, possible return of genre warrior(s) edit

This edit was made under the newly created account Irihana, which I reverted because the citation (to a book from 1975 listed at Amazon and GoogleBooks, but with no preview at either) included no page number or quotation. I was then reverted by another newly created account In_de_Nile who included a sentence fragment from a supposed quotation and the page number as 65. This Amazon.com product page, however, says the book has only 37 pages, so I've reverted them again, whoever they are. Dan56 (talk) 04:27, 4 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Ook, @Irihana:, so now it's page 32 in the book. What happened to page 65? And why did "In_de_Nile" cite the same book as you and then vanish?? And what happened to the word "timeless", originally included by that "editor" as being part of the quote you're claiming is in that book? Dan56 (talk) 05:57, 4 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
@Dan56: that In de Nile is probably a vandal only account; I didn't realize that you actually needed the page number and quote, if I knew that when I made the edit originally yesterday, obviously I would've added in all the details such as page 32 and the actual quote of it being The R&B and soul album that featured the number one hit "Killing Me Softly With His Song", I have a copy of the book and you're more then welcome to borrow it, but if you live outside the UK, I will need to pay for the airfare(s). ɪrihαnα 10:37, 4 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
@Dan56: are you aware that the chart reference for the Roberta Flack cover of the album's lead single on that one's page is actually referring to the Prince Purple Rain album chart performance? ɪrihαnα 10:41, 4 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
