history edit

shouldnt that be his decendants still live in the area?

  • Paragraph two has a break in the middle. I'd delete the break but it has the word " james" stuck in the middle before the orphaned "g" and I don't know if "james" is supposed to be somewhere else or there more missing than meets the eye. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:8003:1015:9E00:C810:8F8B:CE59:9B62 (talk) 09:23, 24 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

POV edit

There is bit of POV in this article. I will work on clearing a bit of this out tomorrow. -- Anonymous DissidentTalk 13:11, 24 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

pronunciation edit

Could someone add some IPA to indicate the pronunciation of "Kiama"? Thanks. --69.232.193.104 (talk) 17:14, 6 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Done, by this NSW resident. --Wikiain (talk) 23:02, 26 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
Tried again: ɑː -> æ; i.e. "kye-ahma" to "kye-amma". --Wikiain (talk) 06:23, 11 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Referencing and prose edit

"... had been using the land for thousands of years, moving every six weeks or so in family groups. This is supported by a midden of shells at nearby Bass Point used for more than 17,000 years."

I hope this isn't reference to the tourist brochure? Where did they get it from?
