Political Parties

The only reason I can think of that the SACP is mentioned under See Also is that it, along with the ANC (which is mentioned in the article) formed two of the three members of the Tripartite Alliance. To be fair I added a reference to the third member of that alliance, COSATU. Black township

They still have segregated townships? Or is it just that every person in town is black? Booharv 07:38, 15 June 2007 (UTC)

Entertainment industry

youth in khutsong and carletonville participate in various entertainment industry like. fashion,music ,Acting,ART,and social link ups.The fashion industry in khutsong can be dated back from 1999 where high school kids would wear their unique jean to jean style making it trend all over carletonville using the phrase 'Bokate'which simply means a jean. Although many people were not paying much attention to this trendy fashion style until early 2000 where the colour blocking fashion style started to trend all over south africa. It managed to influence high school kids to form fashion groups like the Odd gang from carleton jones high school.The vintage family in badirile high school.This led to the formation of fashion groups in khutsong.Today there are about over 30 estimated fashion groups,20 fashion brands ,5 modelling agencies , 10 Thrift stores around khutsong , carletonville and many to be yet established.The fashion industry in khutsong and carletonville managed to balance the music industry , and is currently playing a big role in socialisation with an increasing number of social link up events, like kulture friday, scout&style, Thrift cuisine pop-up, plug me asf, kasi cotton fest.the industry plays a huge role in changing many youth's lives in khutsong & carletonville channeling them to posetive monentazied life style habits and pulling them out of crime life. 41.150.221.48 (talk) 05:53, 7 April 2024 (UTC)
