Khadijeh Saqafi Birthday

edit

Khadijeh Saqafi born in 1292 (1913) and in 1308 (1929) and at age 16, is married with Khomeini. Mohsen Abdollahi (talk) 15:24, 25 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

This Wikipedia article says that Khomeini married Khadijeh Saqafi in 1929, but other sources (e.g., http://www.nytimes.com/2009/03/24/world/middleeast/24saqafi.html) say that they married in 1931 or in in 1930. Different sources claim different age of Saqafi at the time she married Khomeini: 16, 10, 12 or 13 years of age. Quinacrine (talk) 05:29, 14 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

If she was born in 1913 and died in 2009 she was 96 years old, not 93..... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.113.21.19 (talk) 13:15, 27 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

The trusted source http://www.nytimes.com/2009/03/24/world/middleeast/24saqafi.html which reported on her death put her as 93. Leaving it as it is for now, just highlighting the discrepancy. Perhaps we should identify on the article page that the year of birth is disputed?Rayman60 (talk) 01:10, 7 November 2015 (UTC)Reply
