Perhaps add other possibilities? The Petit Robert gives "ÉTYM. 1888 ◊ de cagne région. « paresse » par ironie, ou de cagneux." And the Robert historique also notes the "paresse" possibility, but only secondarily. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.38.249.160 (talk) 22:41, 26 August 2016 (UTC)
