Flare star?

Is this a known flare star? That becomes a viable article sub-topic (with proper citations) since the system now appears to have an earth-sized planet in it's habitable zone. 2602:306:BDA0:97A0:466D:57FF:FE90:AC45 (talk) 01:21, 18 April 2014 (UTC)

Star - description

I am rather confused by this opening sentence under the section "Star": "A number of previously unknown measurements of the star are known." If someone knows what the original author was attempting to relate, coould they re-write it? Perry Middlemiss (talk) 22:30, 29 November 2023 (UTC)
