• Cover internal civil war, esp. in Eastern and Western Kentucky (See Talk:Opposition to the American Civil War).
• Add list of prominent Kentucky people involved with the war, such as John C. Breckinridge
• Add list of Kentucky regiments (and the Orphan Brigade)
• Add list of Kentucky battles and a brief synopsis
  • Show map of the state that indicates where battles occurred
• Add list of memorials (battlefield parks, statues, museums, etc.)
• Discuss how the Cumberland Gap was a potential invasion route to Eastern Tennessee, critical to the Union (which is why the Battle of Mill Springs was important)
• Incorporate Image:ACW Corinth2Perryville.png.
• Especially after filling out this article, write a better summary of the Civil War period in History of Kentucky.
