editPlease note the current Wikipedia article on the "Bourbon Trail" or the "Kentucky Bourbon Trail" inaccurate. The Kentucky Distillers' Association ("KDA") owns numerous federally registered trademarks in the mark KENTUCKY BOURBON TRAIL® for use in connection with its tourist attraction now featuring SIX distilleries where visitors can learn about the art and science behind Kentucky's signature Bourbon industry including but not limied to: KENTUCKY BOURBON TRAIL + design, Reg. No. 2,584,119, KENTUCKY BOURBON TRAIL, Reg. No. 3,556,684, KENTUCKY BOURBON TRAIL + design, Reg. No. 3,556,71, and KENTUCKY BOURBON TRAIL, Reg. No. 3,710,981. See registered trademarks listed at United States Patent and Trademark Office [1] for Kentucky Bourbon Trail®. The KDA formed the "Kentucky Bourbon Trail" or "Bourbon Trail" in 1999 wherein the same included eight distilleries.[2],[3]. Please note more sources are available.
Recently, the distilleries owned by Sazerac Company, Buffalo Trace and Tom Moore, resigned from the Kentucky Distillers' Association and are no longer members of the KDA or its KENTUCKY BOURBON TRAIL®. See Lexington Herald-Leader Newspaper article entitled "Buffalo Trace, Tom Moore leave distillers' group Boubon Trail at [4]. See also [5]. See also [6]. If you need more sources please let me know.
In light of the above, please make the necessary revisions to the wikipedia entry. Pennylane2009 (talk) 19:57, 4 March 2010 (UTC)

Please note that the article is still not accurate. Specifically, the Kentucky Distillers' Association is the owner of numerous federally registered trademarks for the mark "KENTUCKY BOURBON TRAIL®" word only and "KENTUCKY BOURBON TRAIL®" plus design for use in connection with its tourist attraction now featuring six distilleries where visitors can learn about the art and science behind Kentucky's signature Bourbon industry including but limited to: KENTUCKY BOURBON TRAIL + design, Reg. No. 2,584,119, KENTUCKY BOURBON TRAIL, Reg. No. 3,556,684, KENTUCKY BOURBON TRAIL + design, Reg. No. 3,556,71, and KENTUCKY BOURBON TRAIL, Reg. No. 3,710,981. See registered trademarks listed at the United States Patent and Trademark Office at [7]. The KDA and its member distillers created the Kentucky Bourbon Trail® in 1999. See [8]. Therefore the following sentences in the article are incorrect.
1. First Sentence: "The Bourbon trail or Kentucky Bourbon Trail is the name given to the area in Kentucky where the state's bourbon distilleries are located." As stated above, the "KENTUCKY BOURBON TRAIL(r)" is a registered trademark of the KDA which is used in connection with the tourist attraction it created which now features six distilleries where visitors can learn about the art and science behind Kentucky's signature Bourbon industry. Only members of the KDA are on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail®.
2. Second Sentence: "It was launched by seven of the eight distilleries in the region." It was launched and/or created by the KDA which at the time included members from the seven of the eight distilleries in the region. See [9]. See also [10] and [11]. Please note additional sources may be provided if needed and you may reference our client's website, www.kybourbontrail.com for more information about the KDA.
The remaining corrections are fine. If you need any additional information regarding the request to revise the article please let me know.
Thank you for your assistance in this matter. Pennylane2009 15:39, 13 April 2010 (UTC)
