Proposed move of article
editI propose moving the article to a new page called "Kensington and Chelsea Register Office" because that is the actual title of the register office: https://www.rbkc.gov.uk/births-deaths-and-marriages/how-contact-us/kensington-and-chelsea-register-office-opening-hours Peteinterpol (talk) 05:55, 25 May 2016 (UTC)
- I have already created a page with that title as a redirect to this one. In accordance with WP:COMMONNAME, "Chelsea Register Office" is far and away the most commonly used, even if it is not the official name. Edwardx (talk) 22:42, 25 May 2016 (UTC)
- Hello Edwardx, thank you for this. It would be good to see evidence you are basing the claim that it is "far and away the most commonly used". If you google "Chelsea Register Office" you get a stack of hits on "Kensington and Chelsea Register Office". Do you have any evidence to back this up? Peteinterpol (talk) 05:56, 26 May 2016 (UTC)
