Kenneth Pollack edit

Hi -- you removed the section of the article Kenneth Pollack on his connection to the Israeli espionage scandal, with the edit summary "Polack was not indicted. The case was recently dropped, so not clear what to report.". The text you removed did not claim that Pollack was indicted. If you feel that the wording could be taken to imply that he was, the right remedy would be to improve the wording and not to remove the entire section. I cannot find anything on the Web about the case being dropped -- do you have a source for this? Why do you believe the case being dropped is an argument in favour of deleting this section? The indictment was dropped: [1]. The removed text did not say explicitly that Pollack was indicted, but one could be mislead into thinking that he was indicted (e.g. the headline "US government indictment"). Also it is not clear at all, and the source does not help, what was claimed regarding Pollack in the indictment. So the combination of all these factors leads me to conclude that there is no place to report the issue. Mashkin (talk) 13:14, 4 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
So change the title. The section is valid until you bring a source showing an update on Pollack. By your reasoning, you can bring any web article to any WP article and remove material based on what is not your source. That itself is misleading. Once again, YOU decide what belongs in an article and what does not. Mashkin, You are not the WP:OWNER of this article.--Shuki (talk) 16:12, 4 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
We do not know how Pollack was mentioned in the indictment the JP source does not give enough details. Given that the indictment was dropped it is not clear that there is much point in pursuing it.
Your attitude is not constructive and very unclear. Mashkin (talk) 16:53, 4 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

I would argue that his book, _Arabs at War_, is miscaracterized. It is not primarly about "the foreign policy of six Arab nations," but rather, as implied by the title itself, about the performance of the Arab militaries in combat. Anyone looking for foreign policy insight in that particular book would be sorely disappointed. Chris — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.255.211.95 (talk) 21:37, 15 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
