Possible error
editI have moved this note placed in to the Wikiepdia article in December 2010, from article space to here. Perhaps someone can check if it is correct and add any changes into the text with appropriate references to reliable sources.
In paragraph 3, sentence 3 "He joined the 90th Foot in 1784..." should read 1794. Thomas Graham's commission to raise what became the 90th Regiment of Foot(Perthshire Volunteers)is dated 10th February 1794 - see National Archives of Scotland reference GD 190/1/159; date also quoted in Alex. M. Delavoye 'Life of Thomas Graham, Lord Lynedoch: Richardson & Co., London 1880, p 84

I checked the ODNB source:
He was wounded at the ill-fated siege of Dunkirk, but his prowess as an officer caught the attention of Thomas Graham of Balgowan (later General Lord Lynedoch), who, when raising the 90th regiment in 1794, asked for Mackenzie's services.
and so I have changed the text to 1794 from the typo of 1784. -- PBS (talk) 20:10, 30 December 2012 (UTC)
