keelavaippar is one of the palaces of st.mary " our lady of assumption" the mary's statue is subjected to holyness; people donot touch it unless they have some fastings and bath; its belongs to tuticorin district; one can have a pilgrim by visiting "our lady of snows in tuticorin",keelaviapaur,sipppikulam and vaempar
