Community Council

edit

The statement about the newly elected kearns community council being expected to vote for incorporation isn't supported by any fact, it is simply the opinion of the author and should be stricken or backed up with an external source.

It doesn't need to be if your from salt lake county you'd know that all the townships incorporated. Czechowolf (talk) 05:00, 10 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

Crime

edit

More focus should be given on the crime rate in Kearns. It is the extremely important for people to know about. agreed

No, I don't agree. The only thing significant about the crime rate in Kearns is that people think it's worse than it is. Salt Lake City itself is much worse. See http://www.bestplaces.net/crime/?city1=54940470&city2=54967000. It's also slightly better than some of the surrounding cities, as can be seen on the same page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.2.130.2 (talk) 00:52, 21 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
Kearns is full of criminals, it is not particularly crime-ridden itself. Like any good criminals, they leave their neighborhoods and go to other cities; West Jordan, Salt Lake, or the East Side to criminalize, rob and steal. There's nothing to steal in Kearns, the pickings are better in the surrounding cities. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.187.0.183 (talk) 13:40, 29 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Famous people from Kearns

edit

There should be some acknowledgement of famous people from Kearns... if there are any. Wasn't there a pretty good MMA fighter from Kearns? 128.187.97.4 (talk) 18:18, 13 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Utah Olympic Oval

edit

Why no mention of the Utah Olympic Oval? Seems like a pretty important thing to mention considering that it has a higher rating in WikiProject Utah then Kearns itself does. It also seems like the oval used to be mentioned in the article, not sure why it was removed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.2.130.2 (talk) 00:41, 21 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
