Toshiba Kawasaki Brave Thunders → Kawasaki Brave Thunders – Ntsctalk has asked me to reopen this request, so I am following up based on the comments at User talk:Dekimasu#Toshiba Kawasaki Brave Thunders and adding a bit of my own commentary. At the end of the 2017–18 B.League season, ownership of this team transferred from Toshiba to DeNA. This is reflected in secondary sources such as these: DeNA to assume ownership of Brave Thunders from Toshiba, Brave Thunders facing up to future without parent company Toshiba. Sources in Japanese give similar reports. While I don't think it would be appropriate to add "DeNA" to the name, since it is not clear that appending "DeNA" has become common, I do agree that removing "Toshiba" is reasonable–the Kawasaki Brave Thunders name recognizably and unambiguously refers to both incarnations of the team.
