Copyvio

edit

Most of the material on the page was copy/pasted from what may be Katherine's page on myspace: http://www.myspace.com/chicdirector

I've reverted to the version before the copyvio material was posted. -- SatyrTN (talk / contribs) 16:08, 27 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

It doesn't seem like most of it was taken from her MySpace page to me; only a small portion of it. Unless we're talking about that small portion, and then other small parts from other sections on her MySpace page, like film descriptions, just being copied from there and pasted here. But those film descriptions are everywhere. Either way, this article should not have been reverted all the way back to this beyond pitiful version which has a notability tag. She is clearly notable, and I would hate to see this article needlessly nominated for deletion. I am going to revert this article to the "copvio version" and reword it in my own words, then add some valid sources to this article. She's done interviews with notable publications, and this article can certainly be better than what it was. Flyer22 (talk) 08:36, 28 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
Okay, I've copyedited it enough that it is not really copyvio anymore. Now, I just have to add valid references, like to her quotes and stuff. And I will also better format other aspects of this article; the wording, for example, still needs work, of course. Flyer22 (talk) 09:26, 28 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

The image Image:Loving Annabelle poster.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

Don't panic; deletions can take a little longer at Commons than they do on Wikipedia. This gives you an opportunity to contest the deletion (although please review Commons guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to upload it to Wikipedia (Commons does not allow fair use)
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Commons Undeletion Request
