English pronunciation edit

The "English pronunciation" (' Kas-pr-o-vě Vē-air-h ') is rather bizarre and unhelpful, including as it does the letters "ě" and "ē". It also suggests that "pr" is a syllable, and the final "-h" is especially odd. It looks like it's intended to be based on the Polish name (and not the Slovak name), but why a Polish-Slovak mountain name would have an "English pronunciation" at all is unclear. There certainly seems to be no English name for the mountain. Perhaps what's intended is "a transcription of the (Polish?) pronunciation in a manner comprehesible to English speakers" (which it is not).

An IPA transcription of the Polish name would be /kasˈprɔvɨ ˈvjɛrx/. I've replaced the "English pronunciation" by this, but of course it would be better if the author of the "English pronunciation" section clarified what they had in mind, or if someone else would add a sensible Anglophone-readable transcription. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ataltane (talkcontribs) 19:54, 16 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
