Stalin had died at the end of 1952, and East Germany underwent its own (violently suppressed) popular revolt in June 1953.

Really? Then why does our Stalin entry say, "The bedridden Stalin died on 5 March 1953, at the age of 74" – ?? Sca (talk) 12:29, 6 April 2015 (UTC)Reply
