Football?
editThis line, "Football is featured as a discipline at the Mount Lebaniku high school in "Back To School". Football is not practiced in Japan, however, a related sport called kemari is played on occasion." is entirely inaccurate. In fact, football is featured on Japanese television, most regions of Japan have a team, and Japan consistently takes first or second in the football world championships. The sport's popularity can be seen in successfull anime such as Eyeshield 21. Many high schools and colleges have recreational football leagues.
On a side note, Lebaniku is probably a play on "reba niku", or "livermeat" in Japanese. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 123.220.20.43 (talk) 12:20, 5 April 2009 (UTC)
Image as of September 2008
editThis image is okay for the header, but it was been deleted at least two other times in the past for some reason, and many of the characters pictured here are clearly NOT in their current model (Guano, Mikey and Lily all look very weird). Many a pic from the official website can substitute for it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.227.159.15 (talk) 23:20, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
New Paragraph For Article

No Christmas in Japan?
editThe statement that Christmas is not celebrated in Japan is not really accurate. While only 1% to 2% of the Japanese population consider themselves practicing Christians, Christmas itself has become wildly popular among Non-Christian Japanese in recent decades. Though, Christmas is celebrated slightly out of context. The Japanese celebrate Christmas in a way not unlike how Americans celebrate St. Patrick's Day, Cinco de Mayo or Valentine's Day, with much of the religious and historical elements taking a back seat to bright decorations, give exchanging and family get-togethers (Most children, and a few adults, actually have the mistaken impression that Christmas is Santa Claus's birthday). The Japanese even sprinkle in a few Japan specific traditions like the Christmas Cake and an obligation for young Japanese women to have a date for the holiday, much like New Years Eve for Americans. --StevenFurtado 03:08, 13 May 2007 (UTC)
Spamming
editThe plagerism and spamming I see happening to this article all the time is nowhere as worse or frequent than on any other article on Wikipedia. Is there a way someone can put up a restriction so that only honest, respected people of Wikipedia, who can be trusted to provide only true information about the show without fooling around, can edit this article?
Someone wrote something very gory for Kappa Mikey based on Star Wars that I deleted. It was very untrue and I could tell someone that hates Kappa Mikey added it. I`ll keep a lookout for any more spamming or untrue things, okay?
what did the gory thing say
The gory topic was about Lily`s head and hand getting cut off by a light saber and blood shooting out like a hose. Did you really need me to say that? Nice
Guitar Wolf?
editIn the episode Lost in Transportation, the leader of the chums gives Mikey a whistle to summon him. When me and one of my friends were watching that we immediately thought/hoped that that was a Wild Zero refrence. Anyone else think the same? I wouldn't want to add that without some other opinions. 150.182.163.243 23:25, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
Okay, I fixed it
editI fixed up about 80% of the said article. Anything else need fixing, or is there anything I overlooked?--Uzzo2 03:21, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
The article is getting crowded and long. I agree with the disclaimer at the beginning of the editing page that this article needs to be condensed. Look out for redundancies, inaccuracies, and needless info.
References
editI think all the references are interesting, but it should at least say what episode they're seen in. Gladrius 17:12, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
Okay, I'll do that --Uzzo2 23:00, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
11/9/06- Kappa Mikey has many many references. In short, that is ALL that needs to be said about the show in terms of USA and Japanese parodies! That sentence is the ONLY sentence that needs to make that clear! We don't even NEED the Reference section! No WONDER the page looks a mess!
Neutrality
editI added the "American-esque" part and some parts of the "face fault" section. Oh, and the chimp-faced part. Does it need any further editing? Also there is a debate over whether a character is named "Peter" or "Vito". I think it's Vito, but the other guy thinks it's Peter. So I decided to use both names to avoid further debating. --Uzzo2 04:40, 24 July 2006 (UTC)
This article is written very poorly in terms of neutrality.
The Yes Man: Ozu's rather annoying, yet hilarious, chimp-faced assistant and sidekick. He doesn't seem to do anything for LilyMu, except agree with Ozu. He often speaks in short, loud phrases. Once went under the name of 'Denim Boy'.
Highlighted is a bad example of neutrality. Some people might not find him hilarious or annoying. This is more of a fan-based article as it stands. I may take the time to correct this.
EDIT: Forget it, the damage is horrifically extensive; the whole thing is going to have to be rewritten. Robot Chicken 19:45, 2 April 2006 (UTC)
---Not only that, but it is very poorly written, and seems very sloppy. It doesn't seem civilized. Whoever rewrites this, do it with some decency. StarfirePhantom
EDIT: Many of the descriptions, the characters' bios, as an example, all seem to be simply copied and pasted from the website, which is aimed at kids. So right there, you'll have lots of hyperbole and inaccuracies. Someone should try to find a way to reword some of these so they say the same thing but in a more formal way. Werdnak84
Picture?
editThe picture looks like a very diffrent show. If you look at the website the costume is blue etc. while in the picture on the article the costume is green etc. I'd like to know where they got this picture. Rocor 17:56, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
I've seen the show, and it IS in fact the same show. However, the person who wrote this page didn't say anything about lilymu, a show the characters have jobs in. (I don't this I said this clearly, but I can't figure out how to re-word this, so if someone can figure out how, please change it) koolguy2747
Actually, there are some slight differences. This picture was likely produced early in production. (For example, the 'M' on Mikey now looks different, and his gloves and boots now have stripes of blue on them). User:StarfirePhantom
10/17/06- Did something happen to the picture? Can someone put up the same one or a substitute?
Fred from Scooby Doo
editLily dresses like Fred from Scooby Doo? HUH?? She dresses like a stereotypical Japanese schoolgirl. I'm sure beyond a shadow of a doubt that's what they were going for. Gladrius 00:09, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
I strongly agree. I have to suspect that they were also trying to reference Sailor Moon, specifically. SuperDerek 12:19, 22 August 2006
I took it out of the list. Gladrius 14:42, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
She is supposed to reference Sailor Moon, but the outfit is bland and has no detail, thus the confusion. DebbieLin
Episode Numbers
editThere is a slight problem with the episode numbers. When Nickeldeon started airing the show they started with the Episiode "Lost in Transportation" but in the Episode List "The Swicth" was number one. Someone who can get the right information needs to find out which one is which.
-The Switch is indeed the first episode. Nickelodeon, for some reason, decided that Lost in Transportation should be the first to air on their network, which, in the line-up, is Episode 5.

My Edit Summary Comment
editI'm sorry. I was out of line and I admit that was rather rash of me to say that. I apologize. I tend to have a biased opinion at times, but I mostly try to keep that from happening. Ralf Loire
True Love?
editI read about Mitsuki. I was curious about that time when Mikey was roommates with the two girls and they show all those pictures of Mikey on Mitsuki's side of the room (OK?). I hear she trys to make Mikey feel welcome to Japan and I know she really nice to him (unlike that stupid bitch, Lily).
Then I saw those commercials where in each one, Mikey talks about a different Co-Star (like the commercials where he talked about Lily, and then Lily walks behind him and throws water at him), any way, in the commercials where he talked about Mitsuki, I notice she walks up to mike and complements him on his hair ("Mikey, your hair looks nice today."). OK, is there such thing as being too nice?
I just read the section about Mitsuki in this article, and I'm thinking "Really? All this time and I can't believe I never suspected that Mitsuki has a Crush on Mikey. What is wrong with me? How did I not notice something so obvious?"
I'm just wondering. If Mitsuki is in love with Mikey, well, how does Mikey feel about Mitsuki? Does he see hear as just a friend or more than a friend?
Cleanup
editI'm going to add a cleanup tag. Although slightly better than when I last saw it, it's still pretty messy. I'll try and pitch in a bit myself 199.126.137.209 03:50, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
Name of Kappa Mikey
editWhen I was going through the sushi articles I came across Kappamaki which is a type of sushi made with cucumbers. I've never watched the show except for the tail end of it when something else is coming on after it, but it seems that the title is a spoof of this japanese dish. Would a citation be needed for this tidbit of info to be needed? Moridin 05:19, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
- I added that fact already, but it was deleted for some reason.
Extra Link
editThat link was aready there. I was just moving it, and the thing about the airvent, I saw the episode. The photo's were in the book when mikey picked it up, but go sucked out when he was holding it.
Personal Pages
editI have an idea. For the TV show; Avatar, the Last Airbender, all the characters have their on page with their info. Why not do the same for Kappa Mikey. You know. Make it so if you click on their names, it has a page about who they are.
- Avatar has had well developed characters, while the characters of Kappa Mikey are still developing, as we've onl had 14 episodes so far. Avatar's characters also have 'timelines', while we still don't know enough about Kappa Mikey's characters' pasts. We don't even know their specific ages yet. I'd say we wait at least until the second season airs before creating sepaprate pages... Rusty5 02:52, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
No, it's a good idea. The characters will develop, and so will the articles. That's the way Wikipedia is: always changing and moving with the way life does. If no one else does it, I will.--KaleidoMagic 01:39, 6 January 2007 (UTC)KaleidoMagic

Yes
editAnybody got any thoughts on Yes Man, i mean come on he's the oddest character on the show but i will admit funny.
Yes! He rox!!! ^_^--KaleidoMagic 01:40, 6 January 2007 (UTC)KaleidoMagic
I think he's pretty funny almost all the time. I still always laugh at his 'Christmas Dance'. --Glitch Freak
True Love (I need to know)
editI'm just wondering. If Mitsuki is in love with Mikey, well, how does Mikey feel about Mitsuki? Does he see hear as just a friend or more than a friend?
- Basically, Mikey just sees Mitsuki as his friend, and he's mostly clueless of Mitsuki's crush. Rusty5 18:56, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
10/4/06- Okay, I know there a moments in every episode about this Mikey and Mitsuki thing, but please, those little moments don't HAVE to be listed on every episode summary on this article! The little notes after each episode summary are for notable trivia that are new to the audience- the relationship between these two characters is not new anymore! We KNOW they have feelings for each other, so these facts about the relationship are redundant!
Ori and Yori
editAlright, I just added the information about Ori and Yori from the episode "Battle of the Bands" to the "References to American Culture" section. I'm excited about this being my first major addition/edit to an article. I'm not so sure if I'm a really great writer though. I hope I did a good job! It's cool to know that I was first to put it there! Plus, that was an awesome episode.

No, Kappa Mikey is not a 4Kids TV production. It is Animation Collective.
4Kids handles Kappa Mikey merchandise, which should come in the spring of 2007.69.141.79.71 22:24, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
Does anyone know anything about if it's coming out on DVD?
-No word anywhere for a DVD release as of yet.

- check e bay or amazon or best buy, they might stock Kappa Mikey on dvd. oh and if i might add Yes Man rox, i practically lauphed my head off when he strted doing a dance whering a dress in the episode where mikey steals the coat! - posted By kenobi317- if you wanna talk more about this, E mail me ^kenobi317@aim.com^ or just IM me ^kenobi317^.
Intentional Spoof?
editIs it just me, or does Mikey look almost exactly like Brad from My Life as a Teenage Robot?
-That is pure coincidence.
this article is poorely written, and the fact the show didn't have much episodes only gives slight excuse! 85.250.85.105 18:23, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
WHAT is up with that sentence in the intro paragraph of the article? What is the relevance of some of these sections in the Discussion page?! Can someone get rid of it?!
Sexy Mitsuki
editWhy are all the characters always wearing lose close except of Mitsuki who's always wearing tight closes, is she doing that to attract Mikey? Because of her tight closes, you can easily see, MITSUKI GOTS BIG BOOBS/TEATIES!!!!!!
- Get a life and learn to use proper spelling and grammer, man. Rusty5 22:54, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
I have a life. The reason way I'm so interested is because the relationship between Mikey and Mitsuki is very simuler to the relationship between Me and my Myspace Girlfriend who happens to live in Tokyo (she keeps hitting on my). It's funny because just like Mikey and Mitsuki, my Myspace Girlfriend is older and slightly taller than me.
(The only reason I watch Kappa Mikey is because it's really easy to relate to the relationship between Mikey and Mitsuki.)
- If you have a "myspace girlfriend", then you do NOT have a life. Believe it.(Animedude 08:11, 16 February 2007 (UTC)) —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Animedude360 (talk • contribs) 08:10, 16 February 2007 (UTC).
- OK, I apologise for my comment earlier, but I've been finding redundant comments about Mikey & Mitsuki's love under nearly every episode, some of which not really hinting anything. If we only state that they have feelings for each other in one section, that will suffice. Rusty5 12:32, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
Ok, Sorry, I like to go over broad somethings, lol. I'll start talking about other relationship along with Mikey and Mitsuki, like Mikey and Lily, Gonard and Guano, Ozu and Yes Man, Mikey and Ozu, Lily and Mitsuki, Mikey and Gonard, Lily and Gonard, Gonard and Mitsuki, Guano and Ozu, exc.
- ok we get the point!
wikipedia disscusion is not a forum
What kind of nerd has a Myspace girlfriend. Geez, even I wouldn't sink thAT low. And besides who would watch the show to see the relationship between Mikey and Mitisuki. COME ON DAMMIT!! ITS STUPID
What's the point of just watching a show to see how a relationship turns out? That sounds a little boring... And sorry, but, to be honest, i don't think anyone really cares about the MySpace girlfriend thing, really.
Yes it's true
editWhoever put that Masaka Masako was a spoof of Ubaba (or Yubaba, whatever) you are so right. That's weird though. -.- --KaleidoMagic 01:56, 14 November 2006 (UTC)KaleidoMagic

mikey needs a own article
editheis the main character, and needs his own article.
They all needs their own articles, and I think we need an Articles all about the relationship between Mikey and Mitsuki, LOL.
- Like someone here said earlier, the characters aren't quite as developed yet to deserve each of their own pages= we don't even know much about their life histories.
The Real First Episode
editWhat ever happend to the episode where Mikey first came to Japan?
- I have no clue. It was supposed to be one of the first fe episodes, but it keeps getting pushed back and back. Now, I don't even know if the pilot even will air! Rusty5 00:47, 23 November 2006 (UTC)
- The episode is finished, and delivered. It is up to the network to decide WHEN to show it! :)
I wouldn't worry. I mean, the order is OK and it's not one of those shows that's hard to understand if you don't see the first thing first. I can wait, I guess. Is there an episode where Mikey comes to Japan?--KaleidoMagic 04:45, 1 January 2007 (UTC)KaleidoMagic
Mikey goes to Ohio for Christmas
editIf it shows what there lives are like with out Mikey, then I wonder what Mitsuki's life will be like. Will she be happy because she doesn't know Mikey exists and won't have to worry about trying to get him to notice her, or will she be sad because she has no one to give her hope?
- why are you concerned on that. Arent you at all suprised that Guano is ozu's son.
Yes, I'm very suprised, the reason I was concerned was because I posted that question before the episode was released. I'm even more suprised the Mikey kiss Mitsuki and was blushing when he did it. The only reason why I love to watch Kappa Mikey, is because of the relationship between Mikey and Mitsuki.
well there have been sighns of it all along.user:Maine sugar Probaly going to be be a flashback episode -KA

M + M
editI'm just wondering, in the first episode, "The Switch", when they go throught the hallway, on of the pictures on Miksuki's bulletin broad said "M + M". What does that mean? Does it mean "Mikey + Mitsuki" or "Mitsuki + Mikey"? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.155.229.184 (talk) 03:47, 10 December 2006 (UTC).

Mike + Mitsuki
Mitsuki + Mike
So out of the six, which one does it mean?

Mitsuki's Voice
editOk, I know I've been asking a lot of questions about Mitsuki (that's because she's one of the most misterious characters), but I have another question. In the Christmas Episode, how come her voice changes in the mansion? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.155.229.184 (talk) 00:54, 11 December 2006 (UTC).

Mikey's look
editI can't believe no one has said anything about this on here! Why is it that Mikey looks so much like Fry from Futurama. I would like to think they didn't steal the style by it, but would anyone have any evidence that this was intentual. I mean the character Fry could be said as an american icon(no not really huh?). And another comes to mind is that how many Japenese people have natural red hair? Please tell me if you have any evidence of this being itentual or dicuss if you agree with me or not that he does look like Fry.
Fry, huh? I think he looks like Brad from My Life as a Teenage Robot.--KaleidoMagic 04:48, 1 January 2007 (UTC)KaleidoMagic
Hard to tell from here but he looks like yo momma's ass you thinks he looks like Fry!! GOD!! He more looks like Brad than Fry. Fry looks nothing like Mikey. And by the way there is an episode coming where Mitisuki and Mikey full on make out. And by the way, WHO THE FUCK IS LIZZY ON THE CHARACTER PAGE!! plz answer back. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.7.221.42 (talk) 22:00, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
I don't think Mikey looks that much like Fry but their hairstyle is a bit similar. I don't know about Brad because I don't watch "My Life As a Teenage Robot" that often so I'm not sure. And was that "yo momma's ass" comment even neccessary? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.225.128.144 (talk) 05:29, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
Cultural References
editI've recently looked at the article and I'm wondering if there's really need for a list of all the cultural references in the show. By its nature as a spoof, it's sort of what the show is about. Gladrius 17:41, 28 December 2006 (UTC)
- That's EXACTLY what I said earlier here! By the very nature of the show, all we need is ONE sentence, somewhere near the beginning, that says, "this show spoofs many anime shows and twists them in their own way." That's it! Also, we have way too much stuff on the Christmas episode, and way too many unnotable character details!
No way! They are interesting and cool to read, and anyone who removes them is just...just trying to stub the article! I will NOT forgive them ever ever ever!!! {}o{} <- those are headlights on an angry car.^_^ --KaleidoMagic 04:50, 1 January 2007 (UTC)KaleidoMagic

Mitsuki at the bottom of the foodchain
editI'm just wondering, Mitsuki was treated badly in "Mikey Likes It". In Phantom of the soundstage, she gets "prunked" in the beginning and the end of the show. In La Cage Aux Mikey, Mikey made Mitsuki the lowest things out of the four. Lily The Girls Friend, Gonard The Chef, Guano The Body Gruad, but out of all thing, it was Mitsuki The Mime. In the Christmas Episode, it showed what would happen without Mikey. Out of all four characters, Mitsuki gets the lowest part out of all four. Guano is a chimney sweep, Gonard is still acting and Lily is a fat tub of @!#$. At lease they all can think strait (Gonard, all someone has to do is yell "Cut" and he should stop acting), but Mitsuki completly lost her mind. Everyone else is in the real world, but Mitsuki is off in her own world, too stupid to see reality. Everyone gets lose cloths, but Mitsuki got stuck with tight cloths, and everyone get's the honor of having a name with two syllables (Mi-key, Li-ly, Go-nard, Gua-no, O-zu, Yes-Man and Yo-shi), expect for Mitsuki who has a named with three syllables (Mit-su-ki). Also in the beginning, some of the others forgot her what her name was from time to time. How come Mitsuki is always on the "Bottom of the Foodchain"?
Re: Gonard.Either nobody's dared yell "Cut" at him or he'll only hear it from Guano. So that makes him lost in HIS own world. - R.G. 03:40, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

Yes, I guess that's true. She's like the Daffney character for Kappa Mikey. Normally, bad things happen to the ugly person like Yes Man, but in Scooby Doo, Daffney is the one that gets captured alot, dispight the fact the fact she's the sexiest character. Mitsuki is the sexiest character in Kappa Mikey, therefore, she's on the bottom of the foodchain in Kappa Mikey, just as Daffney is in Scooby Doo.

Article Improvement
editWhy does someone keep reverting the article to its cluttered form? Articles were made for the characters and episodes, but the links to them keep getting removed by someone and replaced by the whole long articles, along with an increasingly long picture. Whoever keeps doing this, please stop. The articles were created for the episodes and characters for a reason. - Noone 03:42, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

Age
editHow old are the charaters? For Mikey, Mitsuki, Lily, Gonard, Guano, Yes Man and Yoshi, and some one put there's names in older from oldest to youngest (or at lease what they think is the answer)? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.78.24.14 (talk) 16:50, 21 January 2007 (UTC).
The order is probably Yoshi, Yes Man, Guano (Ozu's son, so he's kind of old), Gonard, Mitsuki, Mikey and Lily(two way tie). --Glitch Freak
EDIT: I'm gonna guess the ages here: Yoshi is probably early fourties, Yes Man in his mid thirties, Guano in early to mid twenties, Gonard is probably 16, Mitsuki, 15 and Mikey and Lily are fourteen. But those are just guesses.
Yes, it revealed in the first episode that Mikey just graduated from High School. In Mikey Likes It, one of Mitsuki's lost photos was her 16th birthday. I say Yes Man mid thirties, Yoshi mid twenties, Guano in early to mid twenties, Gonard 21, Mitsuki and Lily 20, Mikey 19.
Now that I think about it, Mitsuki might be 21, rather than 20. She had her 16th birthday in her normal life, and she was no longer a spy 5 yrs before.
Who put that there?!

Episode List
editThe new format for the Episode Page is an improvement, but now the air dates look disorganized, since they don't all follow the same integer sequence and lenght. Also, I propose to simplify the synopsis' into one-sentence descriptions, instead of a more detailed summary, to make it look more professional.
Infobox
editBecause there are quite a few articles related to Kappa Mikey, someoneshould make a template for Kappa Mikey now. It should include the following:
- LilyMu Towers
- List of Kappa Mikey episodes
- List of Kappa Mikey characters
- The characters themselves
I would do it, but I don't know how to. --Noone 04:24, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
Foster's Reference?
editIn the episode "Big Trouble in Little Tokyo" (I think its called) anyway in it, they are obsessed witha "secret floor" and behind a door in this floor is a blue blob that looks kinda like Bloo from Foster's home for imaginary friends. Is this notable? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.16.4.116 (talk) 01:14, 11 March 2007 (UTC).
Probably not. Maybe if we had, like, a different article about little cameos like that. Cameo article...hmm...I'll have to think about that. 4.244.123.206 15:17, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
the name itself is a reference to big trouble in little china town
Episodes
editThere should be articles for each episode, as well as pictures. I started that, but I can't do all of the articles/pix. --Noone 01:29, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

editKappa Mikey's been replaced by Cybersix on the Teletoon network. Should this be mentioned in the article? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Kappamatty (talk • contribs) 03:32, 16 March 2007 (UTC).

Fair use rationale for Image:Kappa Mikey, the Whole Group.JPG
editImage:Kappa Mikey, the Whole Group.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

We've been vandaled
editGah, what the heck happened to the character section?! It's all in French or something. Maine Sugar, I don't want to sound accusing at all, but did you have anything to do with this? Spottedstripe(Talk2Me) 15:48, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
- No, never mind, Maine. The person's IP address was on the edit. I've fixed everything, though, so no worries. Spottedstripe(Talk2Me) 15:57, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
On Hiatus
editHow can anyone be sure that Kappa Mikey is on hiatus? I mean, sure, it looks like it is, but this is Wikipedia...we must have proof. Spottedstripe(Talk2Me) 21:51, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
Halloween Comments
editI have revised the section regarding Cultural Errors talking about how Japanese culture doesn't recognise Japan. I can say first hand that when October hits, Halloween is everywhere. Therefore this point is false. Djkizza (talk) 13:56, 3 January 2008 (UTC)djkizza
No more episodes?
editWikialexdx, how do you know the network won't air the last three episodes? They are known to take months of breaks off for every show they air once they run out of episodes backlogged. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.227.159.15 (talk) 11:43, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
I'm just showing that March 30, 2008 is the last air date as the last episode that has aired. Anyway, the 3 episodes COULD be false cause where did people find the name of those 3 episodes? Also it could also be that Larry is working on 2 new shows, the current Speed Racer: The Next Generation, and an upcoming spin-off series, Dancing Sushi, and maybe he could be stopping Kappa Mikey cause of the hard work he and the others are currently working on.--Wikialexdx (talk) 01:41, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
K, I'm just checking on what exactly you imagine the state of the 3 supposedly unaired episodes is. I have also heard of the other shows, but I do know they completed the last three, and Nicktoons has them, and they are real, since they aired in other countries already. :) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.227.159.15 (talk) 01:58, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
- Plus, in a recent interview with Evelyn Lanto (Mitsuki), she said that she had the most fun working on "The Wizard of Ozu", which is one of the episodes that hasn't aired yet. So, coming straight from someone who works on the show, we have to confirm all the episodes are real. Spottedstripe(Talk2Me) 18:21, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
Unfortunatley, Season 2 is the last season of the series, and that DS will be featured in Tokyo where all the LilyMu cast are still present. I know I hate this too, but Larry seems to be working on 3 shows no including KM. But I read in a Larry interview that he mention that they made a 3 part episode, but he may mean the Karakoe episode but thats what confuses me. It's stinks the shows ending. :,(--Wikialexdx (talk) 22:05, 19 September 2008 (UTC)
Dancing Sushi spin-off series
editDid that spin-off series start in the U.S yet? In South Africa they recently began to air Nickelodeon and are already showing 'Dancing Sushi'. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 196.207.32.37 (talk) 18:48, 6 July 2008 (UTC)
- That series started in parts of the world, but not in the US yet. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.27.149.133 (talk) 13:29, 11 July 2008 (UTC)
Image Linked From 'Title' Section
editIf the user intended this image to be in the header, he or she should know how to put it there. Simply linking the image as a text link from the end of this section is unorganized and unprofessional. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.227.159.15 (talk) 20:46, 16 August 2008 (UTC)
Matt Wilson?
editI'd like to discuss why the comment about Matt Wilson has been added here. 1.) He is only one of about a hundred other people listed in the credits. If he is supposed to be mentioned, then everyone ELSE in the credits should be! 2.) He was hardly the only layout artist on the show! 3.) The show he worked on is not notable enough to be mentioned! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.86.117.159 (talk) 23:33, 21 December 2009 (UTC)
IT IS NOT ANIME!
editThis garbage is not anime. Anime is made in Japan according to the English speaking world. This crap about MTV and Nick saying it's the first anime made in the US is NONSENSE and is a poor attempt to attract anime fans. This is not on the Anime News Network nor [My Anime List]]. The 2 biggest anime websites in the US according to Compete.com. I kindly ask that you remove this untrustworthy garbage and label it what it is, AMERICAN CARTOONS! IMDB and Wikiquotes even calls it a PARODY of anime. If this crap is not corrected, I PROMISE I will go to someone at Wikipedia and common sense and have them handle it. If need be, I will create a petition and have anime fans from ANN and MAL flock here with complaints. This misinformation is unacceptable.
PS: Just because Nick and MTV calls this crap anime, that doesn't make it true. Just as Iran says it is a democracy. Not true. Thanks. =^_^= --Akemi Loli Mokoto (talk) 06:43, 17 December 2011 (UTC)
- I removed it since most other western shows that are anime based don't used the term such as Teen Titins and Avatar. Even the new ThunderCats that was made by a actual Japanese studio and which looks far more like modern anime does not use anime as a genre.--70.24.207.225 (talk) 02:22, 31 December 2011 (UTC)
