This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... Kani Kusruti is a highly admired actor and model, who has constantly inspired great interest from audiences and the media. - The roles done by her on the films Kalam, Sivapuranam, Pisasu, Oru Indian Pranayakatha and Kerala Cafe are not at all significant and noticed. - @JackTracker: Remember that speedy deletion is a process which bypasses consensus when an article would almost certainly be snow-deleted at AfD. Since consensus is the way most decisions are made on Wikipedia, speedy deletion only really should be used when an exact criterion is met - so multiple news articles about her easily show a credible claim of significance. Essentially, please be careful about speedy deletion, as it is a process that can be bitey. Notifying the author about notability issues in the article and then nominating through AfD later if those issues aren't resolved is usually the best option if a speedy deletion criterion is not exactly met and the main concern for the article is notability (rather than promotion, etc).
