Personal Kanban

This section only has a statement of the origin of personal Kanban. Why isn't it part of the Origin section? Do we have content that actually says something about what personal Kanban is, how it works, how it's different from other Kanban? Jojalozzo 03:00, 26 August 2012 (UTC)

While Kanban has its origins in the 1940s, and is associated with Toyota, the Benson ref is 2011. We might assume Personal Kanban is a branch of Kanban. Perhaps it's time for separate Personal Kanban page? I think that would be a better place to link to some (any?) online resources on that origin, impact and influence of Personal Kanban. wcrosbie (talk), Melbourne, Australia 04:45, 26 August 2012 (UTC)

All we have is one sentence that says who started it and who influenced it - basically personal promotion. It doesn't say what personal Kanban is or how it's different than other Kanban. There is not enough content to merit a whole section let alone an article. I think we should remove it as promotional until there is some real content. Jojalozzo 18:09, 26 August 2012 (UTC)

Personal Kanban previously was a totally junk separate article. If you guys think it's truly non-notable despite the sources, just go ahead and remove the section. Steven Walling • talk 23:35, 26 August 2012 (UTC)

Adding a book

I work for Productivity Press, a book publisher. Under Further Reading, I would like to add a book we publish, Custom Kanban: Designing the System to Meet the Needs of Your Environment by Raymond Louis (2006). Don't merge with JIT

I reckon eventually, someone is going to suggest merging this article with JIT. Please can we not do that. This article tends to elaborate on Kanban much better than the JIT article. Dessydes (talk) 10:09, 28 August 2009 (UTC)
