First Footballer as Leader of Nation? edit

The article claimed that Johannesen was the first (international) footballer to become the leader of their nation. It is possible that whoever wrote this confuses head of state and head of government. Johannesen is certainly not head of state: Quenn Margethe II is the head of state. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.178.189.247 (talk) 20:28, 16 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

The leader of a nation is whoever heads the government (which may be the President, but most often the PM), not the HoS.--Batmacumba (talk) 13:41, 30 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
