- (Old request, but answering because I, too, was sort of looking for an answer to this question). Not named after a person, but a Paiute language word meaning "mountain home of the people". See Southern_Paiute_people#Traditional_Southern_Paiute_bands and "Kaiparowits Has Become A Fighting Word in Utah", for example. ---Sluzzelin talk 21:07, 27 September 2019 (UTC)

'A species of Struthiomimus, a toothless (yet carnivorous) dinosaur...' I believe that the parenthetical 'yet toothless' should be removed, for two reasons. 1. There are thousands of toothless carnivores - every carnivorous bird for example - so the information isn't remarkable. 2. More importantly, there is a great deal of debate over whether Struthimomius was a carnivore at all. The Wikipedia entry itself mentions this debate and the fact that many scientists believe the theropod to have been omnivorous, or even a herbivore. RobotBoy66 (talk) 11:18, 22 September 2023 (UTC)
