Tony Hawak

edit

Should it be mentioned that Kona is a skating level in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4? dogman15 03:48, 12 September 2006 (UTC)

If important to you, please add to the Kona disambiguation page, not here. Right?

Population

edit

The population stated in this article may be grossly under-estimated

yes, the population has gone up since 2000, but it is clearly stated that the numbers are from 2000. Newer ones of course in 2010!

Revealed guide

edit

There is a new 5th edition of the "Revealed" book, ISBN 978-0981461007 it is a good book, changes are probably minor. The Atlas of Hawaii has more climate info that I can add.

I wonder what the "Lihuʻe" here refers to? Perhaps just cut and paste from a ref on Kauaʻi? Note the Lihue, Hawaii article does not use the "Revealed" ref?

It's publication data: by this you can know that the book is published by a company from Lihue named Wizard Press (or Wizard Printing, or Wizard Corporation, etc.). It has nothing to do with the information being sourced. Nyttend (talk) 19:13, 29 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Cleanup

edit

This Article is mess

There are two cities

1.) Kailua-Kona 2.) Kailua

This Article have some from both of that cities —Preceding unsigned comment added by Vradovic (talkcontribs) 23:51, 10 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Could you be more specific? This article is about the Kailua in Hawaii County, as given in its title and first paragraph. For the one in Honolulu county, follow the link at the top of the page in what we call the "hat note". Generally the "CDP" articles in Hawaii are not being maintained because the old spelling without diacritics causes too many useless changes. We hope the 2010 data will be out soon enough to help. Notable residents

edit

I removed the above since sources say he was born in either the other Kailua in Honolulu county, or else Hilo (where he seems to live now). If someone has a source for being born in this Kailua (doubtful since it is mostly a tourist and commercial town) then please add the souce. W Nowicki (talk) 21:25, 15 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
