Status as a medical doctor edit

I find this very confusing. If he isn't a medical doctor, why do papers like the Scotsman contain statements like:

Ahmed, a doctor at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, Paisley, has been in a coma since the incident and most burns experts believe he is already effectively dead.

They are confusing him with Dr Bilal Abdulla who was also in the jeep at the time of the attack, and WAS a doctor at the Royal Alexandra Hospital. --Dan Huby (talk) 15:38, 9 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
