Move edit

Since User:JaGa questioned the below move on my talk [1], I explain it here:

* Kadavu -> Kadavu Island: If disambiguation is needed, then it is X Island for all in Category:Islands of Fiji. Related here is my move Bau (island) -> Bau Island, which was the only one in "X (island)". That one moved back to where it was before one user actually turned it into the for Fiji islands uncommon way.

  • I agree with JaGa, it isn't Kadavu Island, it's Kadavu. (Are you going to move Borneo to Borneo Island?) If a dab is needed, then Kadavu (island) is fine, but I really think it was fine where it was. Sabine's Sunbird talk 09:56, 5 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Inconsistency of stated size of Kadavu island edit

The size of Kadavu island as stated in https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_islands_of_Fiji is 450.3 km², whereas in this article it is listed as 411 km². This is supplementary to my main concern, which is the statement that Kadavu is the fourth largest island in Fiji. There is a journal article in the Singapore Journal of Tropical Geography which states that "The mountainous volcanic island of Kadavu (pronounced “Kandavu”, latitude (19°S longitude 178°E), the third largest of the Fiji islands, is no exception" (here is a link to the article https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.1111/1467-9493.00045). I'm not claiming to know which is correct, however the statement that it is the fourth largest appears to have no citation, and so I think it should be updated as the third largest and a citation to this article added. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sacrecoco (talkcontribs) 17:08, 6 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
