Why the add? A new article for Pocos Pero Locos is in the works. It was originally a one-hour show when it first premiered a decade ago for KPWR Los Angeles, but it is now a three-hour show and syndicated in parts of Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Texas, Oklahoma, Indiana, Montana and New York. Rough drafts and content consideration for this new article will begin after New Years Day in 2009. If anyone is interested, post at my Talk Page. ElMeroEse (talk) 16:23, 28 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Suggested merge: Big Boy's Neighborhood -> KPWR

KPWR (FM)?

edit

Is there any good reason that this article is at KPWR (FM) instead of KPWR? If not, I suggest that the two articles be exchanged so the redirect is at KPWR (FM) instead of KPWR. BlankVerse 11:50, 4 August 2005 (UTC)Reply

I was suggesting the same thing as well. You read my mind! --SkinnerIJA 00:17, 10 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

rewrite

edit

I pretty much rewrote this article last night, top to bottom, after encountering an odd "it's" instead of "its" on RC patrol. Please let me know if I did something incorrect or missed something.

A couple of the external links were dead, so they're gone, and I arranged all of the text in a more organized flow - it was very chopped up. I couldn't work the "Logos" section in anywhere; if I had more time (or fewer toothpicks holding up my heavy, heavy eyelids) I would put the smaller, older logo in underneath or on top of the current one in the infobox, or do something else with it. I didn't want to just cross a logo off an article page without discussion, unilaterally, so it's still there for KPWR fans to toss about as they see fit.

I did toss out quite a bit about a DJ, Star, that really didn't have much to do with KPWR - I'm still not sure what that's about, but it didn't really have much to do with this radio station. Again, put it back in if it's important - I don't do edit wars. Or at least I haven't yet found something so important as an editor that I'd get angry over a reversion or whatever.

The sentence that drew this little fly into your KPWR spider web, where the criticisms were: "Although many specialty shows exist, they are rare and at odd hours." I just had to figure out why there were so many rare shows. Again, if I messed up a timeline or you guys just liked it the way it was, hack it to pieces because I really am tired and sleepy. If you do, would you put a note on my talk page so I'll know how to do better next time? I'd be grateful. Thanks for giving me a great sleepless night. Now I must go, because I'm seeing green circles floating on my LCD screen. ;-) 'Night. Baseball,Baby! ballsstrikes 10:11, 14 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Power106logo.PNG

edit

Image:Power106logo.PNG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
