Talk:KK (singer)/Archive 1

Why are only bollywood songs listed in the discography?

edit

The discography seems to be biased. It only lists KK's bollywood songs. Somebody please include his Tamil and Telugu songs, too. Appadi Podu Podu Podu!!!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.162.138.71 (talk) 12:09, 23 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

references

edit

what references does this article need? --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 08:01, 14 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

I ask again. Why is this article Unreferenced? --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 12:03, 14 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

The section discography lacks sources, means there are no sources available to refer if someone wants to verify that the songs are actually sung by K.K. If you are aware of any, feel free to add them. ~ Priyanka (talk) 15:44, 9 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
Plus, the article lacks sources for KK's biography. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Twin.priyanka (talkcontribs) 15:48, 9 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Removed that unrelated image: Image:Mount Ara by Tiko Aramyan.jpg --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 12:05, 22 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Good catch! Who is this Kevin Nicks (pictured), I wonder? Andrewa (talk) 15:12, 12 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
Hmmm, looks suspiciously like it's a photo of a young and (so far) non-notable comedian, uploaded by himself to Wikimedia Commons and added to this article to prevent its deletion there... clever if so. I've Ara by Tiko Aramyan.jpg nominated it for deletion there. Andrewa (talk) 16:29, 12 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
And it seems likely it was his second try at least, see his Commons user talk and note the previous image deletion (I know of no way of finding out what it was but am tempted to guess it was a similar image), and his deleted Commons user page and note the vanity content. Krishnakumar KunnathKK (singer) — KK is his common name, and people hardly know him as Krishnakumar Kunnath. relisting see below Andrewa (talk) 06:39, 12 June 2011 (UTC) Anik Ghosh (Talk) 14:48, 6 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Any additional comments:

Relisting to allow the nominator (or anyone else for that matter) to produce some evidence as to common usage (of one name or the other). So far all we have is conflicting claims, all of them unsubstantiated. Had I not voted I would probably close this as no move, no consensus in the light of the lack of evidence of common usage. Andrewa (talk) 15:03, 12 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

And I'd have been wrong to close it! Glad I didn't. Because...
Evidence wasn't at all hard to find... The very first reference on the page
http://www.hindu.com/mp/2006/12/09/stories/2006120901030400.htm
reads in part singer Krishna Kumar Kunnath, better known as K.K..... I think the onus of proof now lies strongly with those opposing, remembering that the closing admin will consider the validity of the arguments not just the number of votes. Andrewa (talk) 15:23, 12 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Best to focus on keeping the page consistent, since the IPs editing may not know how to properly format recent death information or may come to the page to add condolences. Gatemansgc (TɅ̊LK) 18:10, 31 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

While the death is confirmed by all the major media firms, cause of death is yet to be made public. Please cute the source info (cardiac arrest) mentioned in wiki page of KK. AlihasanAMU (talk) 19:28, 31 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
