Updates edit

Hello,

I have made some updates and expansions to this article to avoid some of the sectarian language that was there, and add more concrete details about his life and his teachings. Because sources on Kuya are so limited, and were frequently based on hearsay (for example the "imperial lineage" origin was a common trope among Buddhist monks at the time), I added what clarity I could, but more work and more polish is probably needed.

Thanks and keep up the good fight! Ph0kin (talk) 13:52, 21 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Picture Caption Puzzle edit

The caption says that Namu Amida Butsu has six syllables, but aren't Bu and Tsu two syllables, making the total seven? And in that case, why are there six figures coming from the statue's mouth instead of seven? 216.197.221.97 (talk) 16:10, 9 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
