Jorgensen or Jörgensen?

edit

Hi, the page on Montsalvat refers to the surname as Jörgensen, other sources often use Jorgensen (no umlout). I have changed the text to Jörgensen as per this work: https://www.booktopia.com.au/justus-jorgensen-jenny-teichman/prod9780958078580.html, however (for example) the Australian Dictionary of Biography (http://adb.anu.edu.au/biography/jorgensen-justus-10644) and the Australian Arts Sales Digest (https://www.aasd.com.au/index.cfm/artist/?concat=JorgensenJustu) both use "Jorgensen". Not sure what is best here, suggestions appreciated... e.g. maybe check how he signed his works and/or any publications?

NB His son also appears to use the umlaut, see https://murdochbooks.com.au/browse/books/general-books/visual-arts/Montsalvat-Sigmund-Jorgensen-9781743312728, although in the accompanying text the publisher uses plain "Jorgensen". Go figure... Regards Tony Tony 1212 (talk) 07:48, 3 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

Also just noted a 2009 edit: " 11:01, 20 February 2009‎ JackofOz (talk | contribs)‎ m . . (647 bytes) (0)‎ . . (moved Justus Jörgensen to Justus Jorgensen over redirect: he didn't spell his name with the umlauted o)" - although maybe that is incorrect?? Tony 1212 (talk) 07:51, 3 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
