DVD, Blu-Ray, HD-DVD, & Composer edit

Is there a reference for the movie coming out in these formats? There isn't one directly next to the text which claims so.

Also do we know who the composer is for this, because Timm has said that it is not, nor has it ever been, Shirley Walker. 82.18.21.52 16:49, 10 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Store Exclusives edit

Best Buy will include a miniature Green Lantern figurine based on Hal's appearance in the story with purchase of the 2-disc special edition.

Circuit City will give away a Green Lantern patch with either JL:NF movie (but it also mentions being one of three. It could mean there are three different patches)

Wal-Mart will have a two-DVD pack, like they've done alot in the past. Still can't find out what the extra DVD will be.

Target doesn't have any excluive bonus. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.69.137.22 (talk) 20:37, 24 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Cameos edit

Shouldn't someone put a list of characters who make a cameo appeareance in the film? 24.164.136.207 (talk) 18:59, 1 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

I thought the same thing, but there's not much importance except to fans of the book. Here's the ones off the top of my head: Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle in Vegas, Ted Grant's fight on TV, Jimmy Olsen, The Challengers of the Unknown in the Final Battle, Tom Kalmaku bringing up the Cute Orange Saucer, The Losers in Batman's microfiche, original Teen Titans plus Supergirl and Black Canary, Lex Luthor, Captain Marvel, Metal Men, Metamorpho, The Riddler, Mr. Mxyzptlk, Darkseid, Vandal Savage, Brainiac, The Shade, The Cheetah, Dr. Sivana, The Monocle, Black Manta, The Key, The Joker, Starro, and a few more villains I didn't recognize.
It should still be listed. Maybe in a section that says "Cameo Appearances"?24.164.136.207 (talk) 16:59, 18 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Don't forget the JSA, Gorilla Grodd (as a robot), Adam Strange and his daughter Alanna, Green Arrow, Larry Trainor (aka Negative Man) as a pilot during the battle with the Centre, John Henry Irons (aka Steel), Rick Flagg Jr., Vigilante, Animal Man, Blackhawks, and the Doom Patrol. In the villain montage scene, I could identify Captain Cold, someone who resembles Gorilla Grodd, Riddler, Darkseid, someone who looks like Sinestro, Two Face, Sivana, Dr. Light, Cheetah, someone who looks like the Penguin, Star Sapphire, Brainiac, Black Manta, Harley Quinn, the Key, Joker, Ultra Humanite, Mr. Mxyzptlk, and some other villain I can't recognize who is next to Dr. Light and could be Gentleman Ghost. Commissioner Gordon is identified by Darwyn Cooke in the commentary as the man with Faraday after the agents take the scared man away. Cooke also identifies the government agent lady with the red beret as a character from the comics, although I didn't catch her name. It sounded like mademoiselle something. 71.167.116.109 (talk) 15:29, 20 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

DC movies are not connected edit

Having Gotham Knight and Doomsday in the proceeded by and followed is wrong. There is no connection to any of the films outside of the being DC. By this logic Constantine is connected to V for Vendetta or Batman Begins.76.241.88.186 (talk) 05:55, 3 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

However, they are connected within the same series of films, if not by continuity. For the article's sake, it's best to show the readers which films were released in progression of the series since there is no continuity between them. Since there is already a page for the line of the films which explains that they are stand-alone, there's no need to show continuity progression. --CmdrClow (talk) 01:00, 4 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
That's not how the proceeded by and followed by are used. Like I said above Constantine & V for Vendetta are both made by Warner Bros. and are DC Vertigo movies, they are not connected.99.163.157.119 (talk) 01:09, 4 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
Also, see Template:Infobox_Film.99.163.157.119 (talk) 01:22, 4 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
The template says use these for a series of movies. Because the producers have called these a series, EVEN THOUGH THEY AREN'T CONNECTED BY CONTINUITY, they are still within the same franchise. --CmdrClow (talk) 08:26, 8 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Uncited claims edit

In the "Critical reception" section, the sentence, "Other sites, including some non-fan-sites, had similar reactions.", is uncited and, as such, is spurious. Either remove it or show proof. Skaizun (talk) 17:18, 25 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

"Unvoiced"? edit

The Cast section currently includes:

Brooke Shields as Carol Ferris/Star Sapphire (unvoiced)

I think "unvoiced" requires some explanation, somewhere. What does that even mean? I'm guessing it means that Carol Ferris and Star Sapphire are the same character, but only in her Carol Ferris identity does she have dialogue (which, of course, is provided by Brooke Shields.) In this case, I think the parenthetical can simply be omitted. There's no need for it, and it's unclear. I've noticed that Batman: The Animated Series's credits always list Kevin Conroy as "Batman/Bruce Wayne" (or perhaps in reverse, I don't remember), even in episodes in which the character is only seen as Batman.
But, of course, this is just a guess. I don't really know what this means.
