Pavillion edit

Dunno how to describe it better, but there was a special little building on that hill. It looks really cute on an old postcard in the travel book. Renata 20:50, 19 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thanks. It just seemed a bit strange in the article without further explanation (and a bit generic to be mentioned if you know what I mean). --Lysytalk 21:45, 19 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

The cormorant colony edit

"Fishermen blame the birds for diminishing fish catches, but strict regulations of the National Park do not allow hunting them." Are these really the National Park regulations ? Isn't Great Cormorant a protected species in the whole country ? --Lysytalk 21:43, 19 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Actually, I dunno. there are many articles about them but none says specifically why they cannot be hunted. Some mention something about EU, though, but not enough to decipher. Renata 22:12, 19 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
Just checked it, both grey heron and great cormorant are protected in Lithuania (the same in Poland). --Lysytalk 15:31, 20 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
